There is always such a wide variety of baby girl clothes sometimes it is hard to choose. I believe in comfort.

Make sure your baby girl’s clothing are the right size and fit properly.

This is a generic sizing chart to help you get the best fit for your baby clothes.

• ·         Size: 0-3 Months, Height: 20”-24”, Weight:  6-13 lbs.

• ·         Size: 3-6 Months, Height: 24”-26½”, Weight: 13-18 lbs.

• ·         Size: 6-9 Months, Height:  26½”-29”, Weight: 18-22 lbs.

• ·         Size: 12 Months, Height: 29”-31½”, Weight: 22-26 lbs.

• ·         Size: 18 Months, Height:  31½”-34”, Weight:  26-29 lbs.

Another way to make your baby girl is comfortable is to make sure she is wearing the proper clothes for the weather. There is nothing worse than being in shorts and a short sleeve shirt when it’s cold, or in long pants and a long sleeve shirt when it’s hot. When the weather is questionable you may want to take an extra set of clothes with you. If you think it may get cold grab a jacket, or just keep an extra sweatshirt in the car.

Baby onesies are another way to keep your baby comfortable. There is nothing to bind them around the waist and they are loose fitting. These are also called creepers, rompers, shortalls and longalls to name a few. Baby onesies come in cotton, seersucker, fleece, flannel and other fabrics. Of course the lighter weight fabric to keep them cool, and the heavier fabric to keep them warm.

As far as baby girl clothes go one of my favorites is baby girl dresses. To me there is nothing cuter than seeing little girls in dresses. Remember to keep them comfortable. Just basic baby girl dresses are the best. Choose a simple A-line dress. There are lots of dresses that tie at the shoulder. They can be adjusted to help you get the right fit.

When you choose a shirt make sure it is the right size. Find material that is soft and feels good. Buttons and certain decorations are not comfortable to sleep on, and there is a good chance that your little one will fall asleep while wearing it.

Choose shorts and pants that are not tight around the waist. Always check to make sure they are long enough in the stride.

Make sure when you purchase a bathing suit it is long enough in the stride. It is more comfortable to be a little long than to have it ride up.

Sleepwear should be flame resistant. Choose something roomy, and remember that bows and buttons are not comfortable to sleep on.
